Wind turbines installed on bedrock are anchored deep into the rock using precision engineered steel anchor rings. Each ring features double rows of accurately drilled holes that secure long rock anchors installed deep into the bedrock. This anchoring method ensures reliable load transfer and structural stability for tall turbine towers operating in harsh wind environments.
Proplate Rock Secure Bedrock Anchoring System
Proplate Rock Secure is a high performance anchoring solution developed specifically for wind turbines installed on bedrock. The turbine tower is fastened to a heavy duty steel anchor ring, which secures long steel rock anchors drilled deep into the underlying rock formation.
This system provides a robust foundation solution for sites where soil based or gravity foundations are not suitable, delivering long term stability and safety under dynamic turbine loads.
