Proplate provides high capacity shot blasting services for heavy steel components as part of our integrated manufacturing process in the United States. Blasting is a critical step in preparing steel surfaces before painting, welding, or assembly, helping ensure consistent quality and long term performance.
Proplate uses steel shot blasting, also known as centrifugal blasting, to thoroughly clean heavy plate and large steel components. By propelling steel shot against the surface, we remove mill scale, dirt, rust, and surface corrosion, creating a clean and uniform profile ready for further processing.
High Capacity Shot Blasting for Large Components
Our blasting operations are designed to support large and complex steel components. Proplate operates through feed steel shot blasting equipment capable of handling components up to 20 meters in length and 1.5 meters in width.
