High Strength Structural Steel Components

High strength steel grades such as Strenx® from SSAB, Dillimax® from Dillinger, and Quend® from NLMK Clabecq offer significantly higher tensile strength than conventional structural steel. These materials enable lighter structures while maintaining excellent formability and durability.
With higher yield strength than standard steel, high strength structural steel can withstand substantial stress and return to its original shape once loads are removed. This makes it ideal for demanding applications where strength and weight reduction are both critical.

Ordinary Structural Steel Components
In addition to high strength grades, Proplate also manufactures components from ordinary structural steel. Standard structural steel with low alloy content offers a cost effective solution for many industrial and infrastructure applications.
Ordinary structural steel is supplied to Proplate as heavy plate, typically starting at 10 millimeters in thickness. Our cutting capabilities allow us to process plates up to 300 millimeters thick while maintaining precision and efficiency.
